Another day...another healthy food post. I can't help it if I'm trying to eat better, although I don't exactly know if a smoothie qualifies as eating better. More like drinking better. But that's better than nothing I suppose.
Excuse the terrible pictures...that's my bad and in no way, shape, or form should you pass judgement on this delicious smoothie due to my hurried pictures. It really is one of the best smoothies I have ever had, hands down.
Very Berry Smoothie
- 1 banana, cut into thirds
- 1/2 cup of creamy strawberry yogurt
- 1/2 cup of blueberries
- 1/2 cup of blackberries
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 4-6 ice cubes
In a blender, combine the banana, yogurt, blueberries, blackberries, milk and sugar. Blend until smooth. Add the ice cubes in two at a time and continue blending until well broken down. Serve chilled!
Note: If you don't like seeds, I would suggest omitting the blackberries and substituting with more blueberries.
