Midnight "Muenster" bagel

It used to be that there was nothing quite as satisfying to me as a cream cheese bagel. That was before I was introduced to the muenster bagel. My parents are the ones responsible for introducing me to this heavenly creation. And it was love at first bite. And second. And third. And...you get the picture. These bagels are out of this world, crazy good! And the best part? This bad boy of a bagel takes no time to prepare. A perfect on the go breakfast or lunch,  perhaps even a midnight snack. Here's the easiest recipe, (which I feel lame calling this because it's not really a recipe, more like a ingenious bagel topping) that you will ever make! Happy eating!

Muenster bagel
  • 1 bagel, toasted and cut in half
  • 2 slices of muenster cheese
  • 2-4 slices of good  deli roast beef
Put the oven on broil. Toast your bagel, if you haven't done so already. When toasted, lay bagel on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. Layer the bagel halves first with the roast beef, then with the muenster cheese. Broil for 1 minute, or until cheese is golden and bubbly. Serve with a glass of chocolate milk.
